Wow, awards are in abundance now, aren’t they? I was nominated for this award the same day I posted my second Blogger Recognition Award post. So, I don’t know if I’ll really be nominating anyone, since I nominated in that one and it takes a very long time to go through and let everyone know.
But, here is my post for the Mystery Blogger Award I was nominated for by King Dylbag. Thank you so much for nominating me, and I’ve been noticing you lurking around in my recent posts, so thank you for that as well!
What is the Mystery Blogger Award?
It’s an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.
I sure hope my blog captivates people, at least in my OWLS posts, I put a lot of thought into those! And I definitely enjoy blogging, it’s become a huge part of who I am, and what I think about every time I’m watching an anime.
Put the award/logo on your blog.
List the rules.
Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
Tell the readers 3 things about yourself.
You have to nominate 10-20 people (I’m cheating and using the nominations from my Blogger Recognition Award from a couple days ago, if you guys feel up to it, you can do this one as well!)
Ask your nominees 5 questions with one weird or funny question.
Share a link to one of your best posts.
I’m sure I’ve stated these before, but oh well.
- I just turned 18 a few weeks back, making me one of the youngest ani-bloggers, which surprised me a lot when I started out on this little adventure back when I was 16.
- I spend way too much time on tumblr, mainly just looking through fanart of pairings I like.
- I go to a combination of high school and college, at my city’s community college. So, I’ve been taking college classes since I was 16, but that also means I have to be a “high school student” for one extra year.
1. Whats your favourite TV show?
That’s really hard. I watch almost exclusively anime, and I can’t even tell you my favorite in that. But, I recently finished Stranger Things, the only live-action show I’ve been invested in since I watched Disney Channel in middle school. And I loved it a lot, so that’ll be my answer here!
2. Whats your favourite Genre for music?
Mainly I listen to pop punk, or any of those other “emo” genres, I guess. I just like how upbeat they are, but have meaningful lyrics that are misleading to the beat. I also have recently been getting into J-rock and J-pop, which is what I’m listening to as I write this. (Specifically THE ORAL CIGARETTES album: FIXION)
3. Whats your new years resolution?
To read more blog posts. I accidentally ignore the fact that other people write posts too and it makes me feel really bad. I’m pretty much failing at that so far this year, but I’m going to try to keep it more in mind. I want to support all of my fellow bloggers!
4. What are you excited for in 2018?
Anime-wise, definitely My Hero Academia Season 3, though I’ve heard from manga readers that it gets super intense and emotional. It’s something I’ve been into for a year now, though, so I’m still hyped for it! Just in life in general, I’m excited for my first trip in a plane to visit family over the summer. I’m also excited to be getting closer and closer to my associate’s degree.
5. Favourite meme?
Gosh, there are so many good ones. A lot of the ones I see are generally rehashed for each fandom I’m a part of, but some that everyone knows that I like are the math one and the guy blinking.
I almost always say my A Silent Voice tour post, but this time I’m going to say my Noragami one. Just because that was one of the most fun posts I’ve ever written and I really love that series.
I’m not sure if anyone will use these because I’m not nominating more people, but I’ll throw some here anyway.
- Have you ever cosplayed before? And if so, who?
- What was your favorite part of 2017?
- If you were to recommend one show/book/comic/etc. to anyone, what would it be?
- Is special effects/art important when deciding on watching a show/movie, or is the story more important?
- The weirdest show/book/movie/etc. you’ve watched/read?
So, I’ll be letting those who I nominated for my previous award know about this one for an option to do both or one or the other if they haven’t done it yet.
I’ll most likely have a post out in the next couple days, and then my OWLS one on the 12th! I’m thinking of increasing my posts per week to 2, not including these off posts.
We’ll see with school for me starting back up, but I have a lot of time on Monday/Wednesday in between classes, so it’s possible it’ll go through!
See you probably on Wednesday, if not, on Friday! And I hoped you enjoyed this!
